The SOL is the backbone of our denim line—developed more than a decade ago and intentionally left unchanged. Rooted in the proportions of a classic five-pocket jean, it is cut slim through the hip with a slightly exaggerated rise that allows the jean to settle naturally into place. From there, the leg moves into a clean, slim taper—structured, never skinny. Traditional in spirit, the construction reveals a more considered approach. An oversized fifth pocket is designed to accommodate a mobile device, while French seams, flat-felled seams and double-needle felled construction bring an unexpected level of detail to an otherwise familiar form. It is our longest-running jean and remains our all-time best seller.

COLOR / WASH
KOA — A richly saturated red-cast indigo with a natural, neppy weft that breaks through the surface in small irregular flecks. The warm cast gives the indigo unusual depth—almost violet in its darkest state—while the natural weft brings texture and contrast from beneath. With wear, the surface will continue to open and brighten, revealing more of the cloth’s irregular character.
